Replacement of 4 No. Rail Tracks in PDM Ltd. and WWTP Structures

Description: Survey and reporting on rail tracks in pole creosoting process in Factory. Design of new yard, railways, sidings, switch gear and drainage system. Supplier – Voelstapine. Design of segmental shaft, precast tanks and various structures for WWT Plant.

 

Flood Relief Schemes

Description: Projects include the use of innovative design features, including the construction of relieving flood eyes and the incorporation of flood-resistant glass panels into a masonry-clad concrete retaining wall. This maintained the views of the river for the ground floor of an apartment block situated c.2m from the bank of the Rye Water River.

 

Transport Infrastructure

Description: 3.2km realignment of the N21 National Primary road between Newcastle West and Abbeyfeale. The works include the horizontal and vertical realignment of the N21 together with the provision of new ghost island junctions, a climbing lane, new and widened road pavements, new local roads, road lighting, road drainage, fencing, landscaping and accommodation works.

 

Surface water and Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS)

Description: Kilgallen and Partners has provided innovative and cost-effective Sustainable Drainage Systems to a wide range of development schemes. This is achieved through the application of best practice in terms of methodology and software modelling and through the incorporation of the drainage system into the overall scheme design at the earliest possible stage.
